BADALIN HELVINK, M.D
Badalin Helvink, M.D. is an adult and geriatric psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience. She works closely with clients to provide insightful consultations with a multifaceted approach. Her philosophy of care is to address treatment through a mindful approach of psychotherapy, coaching, and psychopharmacology. She will work to help you find balance and healing in treatment of psychiatric conditions.
Dr. Helvink completed her residency and fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She is double boarded in psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry. She is also a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. She has extensive leadership experience and is the Chair Elect of the Department of Psychiatry at Palomar Health. She has won multiple awards, including Physician of the Year for Palomar Health in 2016.
